She is not a story with a fairytale ending. She is anything but the hype about first loves.
She notices things that you do when you think no one is watching. The way you brush your hair with your fingers every few minutes. The way you sigh in your sleep and that one time you broke your favourite cup.
She likes to escape cities and the glittering lights just to catch the rising sun. She is always up for long drives after you have had a particularly bad day. You don’t need to fill in the silences with words, for she is alright with your sobs and sighs. She will always remember the love you gave her, and later pour her feelings into poetry at the last row of the bus.
You think you know all that there is to know about her, immediately. But, she will hit you during the routine moments of life, like when you are watching a movie or talking about the places you’d like to visit. She will talk and everything else will come to a standstill for a brief moment. You will look at her, as the mask just slips. You will fall. She will be the beginning of all your tomorrows.
